  Here’s a “fun” fact about me: When I was 11 or 12, I was taking a nap one day and realized that I could hear my Marvin the Martian watch ticking… only when I was lying on one side, and not the other. I don’t know how much hearing loss I have (I faked my way through the hearing tests at school, nodding whenever it looked like they wanted me to nod), but if we’re talking, and you’re on my left side, I’ll probably ask if we can switch places so I can stop craning my neck. 

  Meanwhile, my vision is fine, so I don’t need these glasses I tried on via Erin last week. But Warby Parker, should you decide to branch out into cute and affordable hearing aids, gimme a call. (And speak loudly.)

  Someone made a comment about the fact that my hair was in a bun the other night at Obliterati. I said I hadn’t really worn it down much all summer. “Even on dates?” “Even on dates.” “Wow, harsh.” Um. Ok.
